YUNA

salam.

alhamdulillah, I'm able to surf today. Had some problems with the Internet connection yesterday. So I decided to improve my investigating skills by playing Ravenhearst instead. hehe.
Well, yesterday I saw Yuna on MHI. The funny thing was, I was lying down, humming to Dan Sebenarnya. I was on another channel actually. was aimlessly clicking the buttons. then, saw her on MHI. She must be happy to be where she is now.

I still remember on how I first encountered of her existence.. in the local indie scene. I was browsing myspace, checking out new bands and stuff and stumbled upon this girl who wears tudung and it's a myspace music page. I listened to deeper conversation and it didn't take me long to like it. So, I added her song as my profile song. I remembered telling my best friend and my sister about her. My bf likes her too. But my sister simply ignored. The name yuna is unique and after I mentioned it to people, they would be like "mende tu? yuna?" Months went by and I heard her on Fly fm. I was pretty impressed on the way she had gone so far. Meaning that people is starting to listen to her music. I heard that she went to the UK to perform.

Guess what.. now my sis is so freaking crazy about yuna. I still clearly can recall that time when I went home and let her listen to yuna's songs. Backpacking in europe, deeper conversation, cinta sempurna and many more. Die wat dono je kan.. ahha. I'm not sure whether she can recall that one. Whatever it is, Yuna is making it big now. With her voice and her self-written songs, I am sure she can go further than where she is now. Plus, not many people can sing well when it comes to doing a live performance or an unplugged one. I am very impressed when she did it on MHI. pitching x lari, i guess. hehe..
